Today Was a Good Day

Since it was going to be a slow day at work anyway, I decided to take the day off for my birthday. Since I'd been feeling overscheduled lately, the timing was great.

I did nothing.

When I say "nothing," I mean that I had a leisurely day, doing precisely what I felt like doing at every moment. Except for going to the vet appointment.

What did I do?

• I had breakfast in bed. (thanks, Susie!)
  
• I read a book from start to finish.
  
• I ate by myself at Just Won Ton.
  
• I took a nap.
  
• I washed the dishes just because I felt like it.
  
• I played the lute.
  
• I brushed up on the World of Warcraft: The Board Game rules.
  
• I had a great dinner at Range with Susie and my parents. (thanks, parents!)
  
• I watched Project Runway.

So all in all, it was a good day.

And I didn't even have to use my AK.

Hero Update

Just beat Guitar Hero on Hard difficulty. Now moving on to Expert. I seem to be gaining momentum; I struggled to get through the level 2 songs, but managed to clear level 3 with ease. Soon, my mastery will be complete!
